Kickstarter – beware its addictive

Michael Cloud, TechTalk

For the last few months I have been following quite a few projects on kickstarter and can admit, I’m hooked. What did we do before this?

Spacemonkey had me spellbound, I’m not sure why I kept going back to check on it, once you have placed your backing it is not like much can change but you find yourself wanting to get more involved. Where else can you be more at the front of a technology other than actually designing and manufacturing things yourself?

Today I saw that Ghost was available. Now I’m not talking about the soppy love spewing pottery molding movie Ghost, but Ghost the new blogging platform by John O’Nolan.

Several times a week we install, setup and administer a WordPress blog, and there is definitely a need for something like this. Sure there is blogger and a bunch of others out there but they all feel a little bit “Clunky” to say the least. Look at what John has to say about Ghost.

For more information, check out Ghost but be quick, there are only a few hours left.
