Right click on my computer and select manage
open device manager
view (show hidden devices)
under network adapters
disable “Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter”
disable “Microsoft Wi-fi Direct Virtual Adapter”
make sure that “Shrew Virtual Adapter” is enabled
