Today Qualcomm launched the Formula E car in the US. The car has made several appearances but this was its first public demonstration. Formula 1 driver Lucas di Grassi drove the 150mph capable Spark-Renault SRT_01E giving the crowd a rather quick demonstration in the Mandalay Bay parking lot. What a great way to start CES 2014, watching a giant radio …

CES 2014 It’s Confirmed! I have just received my confirmation that I will be part of the official UK Delegation to CES 2014. For the CES 2013 event there just didn’t seem to be enough time in the day to get everything done so for 2014 there is going to have to be a lot more planning. If you don’t …

I have just finished setting up my first Ghost site and all I can say is, “That’s not what I expected”. Ghost is the new blogging platform that took off like wildfire on KickStarter and after a few short months in in general backer release. (If you backed them you get an early release). When searching for Contacts it could take 15 seconds to return the results. Now I’m not one to complain (too much) but if my local PC a quad …

Waiting for sync Your email will appear soon. If you have managed to set-up and authenticate your email on the Nexus 7 you will get a screen that just says Waiting to sync. This seems to be happening after the Android 4.2 update and appears to be linked to a new setting “Auto-sync data which is not enabled by default. On your …
Windows 8 Surface RT Settings
Windows RT’s Evolving Settings Button Windows 8 Surface comes with a whole range of new ways to open, close and switch apps which I mostly knew about from using Windows 8 for a few months now. One thing I have learned though from using a touch version of Windows 8 is that the Settings Icon morphs as you go through …
